OZEV ‘WCS’ (Workplace Charging Scheme)

It is a scheme that is Government funded that provides support to Eligible Businesses wishing to have Electric Vehicle Charging Points installed at their premises.

This is a voucher based scheme that provides a grant set at 75% of the cost or a maximum of £350 (Including vat) per socket for voucher applications submitted on or after the 1st April 2020

There is an allowance of up to 40 sockets per company.

The Min technical specification of the WCS Charge point models is ‘ Fast DC’ With a charging output of great than 3.5 Kilowatt and not greater than 22 Kilowatts.

The customer may buy their own charge point, as long as it meets the min technical requirements.

The Voucher is Valid for 180 days at the present time.

To Apply for this the applicant must use the online application portal.

If the application is successful a email will be sent within 5 working days with the unique voucher code which is to be used by the Installer who has been Authorised by the OZEV for the WCS.
